  • Tammy McMillan - Inclusion and Disability

    Tammy has ample experience in the area of inclusive education. She has experience teaching, mentoring and presenting to support the creation and maintenance of an inclusive educational experience for all. Tammy's knowledge, strategies and approaches to creating an inclusive educational environment have come from her own professional experience in inclusive settings such as, Special Assistance Schools, Autism Specific Schools and Special Education Units. Her passion and firsthand experience makes her an engaging and inspirational presenter and mentor. Tammy has supported educators from Early Years to High School across Australia and New Zealand.

  • Rob Vingerhoets - Maths

    Rob Vingerhoets is an experienced and highly effective educator and subject matter expert who has worked with teachers and students throughout Melbourne; throughout Country Victoria; interstate and overseas (New York City, Beijing). He is an experienced teacher and author, having written a number of best-selling maths resource books and numerous articles. Rob is a popular and engaging presenter of hands-on and engaging maths ideas and practices to teachers and students in Catholic, State and Independent schools over many years and he essentially believes and teaches by his credo that “maths doesn’t have to hurt”.

  • Michael Ymer - Maths

    Michael’s work in classrooms, takes workshop ideas away from the conference room and into the classroom. He believes that the most powerful way to help teachers trial fresh ideas in teaching mathematics is to get into the classrooms with students and take the lesson while teachers have the opportunity to observe.

    Each session is followed with a debrief to answer questions, clarify issues related to the task and discuss follow up activities to trial.

    Issues such as managing maths materials, organising classroom layout, engaging reluctant students and offering success at different levels will be a part of each modelled session.

  • Sammy Taylor - Writing and Oral Language

    Sammy Taylor, a primary school teacher and mum of four, started the Australian branch of Andrell Education in 2011. After falling in love with the approach while teaching in London, Sammy began dedicating her career to providing training on how V.C.O.P, Big Write, and Big Talk can help raise standards in literacy for all learners of all ages. Working with thousands of educators from Pre-School right through Secondary, all across Australia and through the Asia-Pacific region, Sammy is helping children (and teachers) fall back in love with language and writing.

  • Mark McKelson - Leadership Development

    Mark was a Primary School Principal for ten years and is now the Founder and CEO of T2L Education. He achieved outstanding results, improving NAPLAN data, creating cultures of continuous improvement and building strong community engagement.

    Mark is passionate about school improvement and developing leadership skills across the system. Mark's work focuses on internal accountability and how school leaders can drive improvement from within.

  • Isabelle Russell - Mindfulness

    Isabelle is a globally recognised wellbeing practitioner, with a decade of experience across five different countries. She holds a BA Hons in Education, a Montessori Diploma and is a certified illustrator with a passion for education, personal growth and storytelling.

    She believes that narrative plays an essential role in education, offering a universal way of sharing ideas, maintaining culture and promoting mindful behaviours. Isabelle has now dedicated her life to spreading the message of Mindful Mushkins help transform the world of education into a kinder and more collaborative place.

  • Nadia Abdelal - Maths

    With over15 years of teaching experience, Nadia's passion for mathematics extends beyond the classroom. She has authored multiple textbooks and as an Outreach Officer at the Australian Mathematics Sciences Institute (AMSI), worked with over 16 schools across Australia to improve teacher practice and curriculum design.

    She has presented at multiple mathematics conferences Australia-wide, sharing her teaching and subject-matter expertise.

    Nadia currently supports mathematics teachers nationwide as a mathematics educational coach, and specialist and serves as a Board Director of the Mathematics Association of Victoria.
